Disneyland Resort
has entertained visitors from around the world for over four decades. There's so much to enjoy here that people often visit for two days or more. Begin your trip with a grand circle tour on the Disneyland Train, located near the park entrance. The train visits the eight theme areas, which are filled with rides, restaurants, gift shops, strolling cartoon characters and more. Stage shows, street parades and dramatic fireworks displays are featured throughout the year. Call for an entertainment schedule and for seasonal park hours.
Adventureland
showcases the exotic, mysterious tropics: Africa, Asia and the South Seas. The newest park attraction, Indiana Jones' Adventure, is located here. The Enchanted Tiki Room features entertainment by talking and singing Audio Animatronics birds. The Jungle Cruise explores a deep, dark jungle filled with crocodiles, hippos, cobras and lions. Swiss Family Treehouse is a replica of the fictional multilevel island dwelling of the shipwrecked Robinson family.
Critter Country
celebrates America's rustic regions. Country Bear Playhouse, a Disneyland favorite, stages a folksy hoedown performed by animated bruins. Other attractions include two water rides: the hair-raising Splash Mountain, a wild romp through swamps and bayous, and Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes, where you can paddle dugouts along a 2,400-foot stream.
Fantasyland
Fairy tales and legends come to life in Fantasyland. Sleeping Beauty Castle towers over a charming European village, home to Snow White, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio. Popular attractions include It's a Small World, Mad Tea Party, Matterhorn Bobsleds and Storybook Land Canal Boats.
Frontierland
preserves the myth of the pioneering Old West with its shooting arcades, blacksmith shops, gold mines and the popular Big Thunder Barbeque. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a spine-tingling journey on a runaway train. The Mississippi paddle wheeler Mark Train offers a pleasant, scenic cruise. Tom Sawyer Island re-creates the Twain character's favorite stomping grounds. The Golden Horseshoe Jamboree features banjo and fiddle entertainment.
Main Street, U.S.A.
is a re-creation of turn-of-the-century small-town America. It's also the pickup point for the double-decker buses, horse-drawn trolleys, and steam-engine trains that tour the park. Main Street is lined with shops, restaurants and boutiques. It is also the site of spectacular daytime and nightime parades.
Mickey's Toontown
invites you into a three-dimensiona cartoon world. There are no straight lines or angles in the architecture. The clock runs backwards, flowers dance, and wishing wells talk. Kids can bounce off the walls in Goofy's house and play with interactive gadgets and computers in Minnie Mouse's bungalow. There is also a roller coaster, a trolley and a playground.
New Orleans Square
harbors Dixieland jazz and Cajun cuising. Two of the attractions are extremely popular: Pirates of the Caribbean, a boat ride through a swash-buckling buccaneer raid, and the Haunted Mansion, an eerie tour of a ghost-filled house.
This theme land features attractions such as the thrilling "flight" through space on the Space Mountain ride. Star Tours features flight simulators. Visitors can experience a mysterious undersea world on the Submarine Voyage. Other favorites include Autopia and the Disneyland Monorail.
Disneyland Resort
in Southern California filled with classic attractions and spectacular entertainment. Opening May 1998 will be a whole new Tomorrowland featuring new attractions based on imagination and beyond! Favorites such as Space Mountain and Star Tours remain, but are joined by a new 3D adventure, "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience," "Innovations," and a breathtaking new attraction which will be the longest - and fastest - thrill ride in Disneyland Resort history! Located in the heart of Southern California, the resort also features two hotels: the Disneyland Pacific Hotel and the Disneyland Hotel. Both properties offer a number of exclusive Disney benefits, including early admission into the theme park. Disneyland is open 365 days a year.
Back to TopKnott's Berry Farm marked its 75th anniversary in 1995. The park has come a long way since the 1930s, when berry growers Walter and Cordelia Knott turned their dining room into a restaurant and staged shoot-outs in the yard to entertain patrons. The farm is gone, but Mrs. Knott's savory dinner menu is still served daily. And her husband's sideshow has become a spectacular amusement park, featuring more than 60 shops, 25 restaurant, and 165 rides and attractions, including some of California's most thrilling roller coasters. The park's attractions include Mystery Lodge, in which the Old Storyteller takes visitor on a multisensory journey into the native North American West, and Jaguar!, one of the longest roller coaster rides around. New to the park is The HammerHead, which rises more that 80 feet while spinning riders over a mystical water grotto.
The Boardwalk
Celebrating the vitality of Souther California fabled beach culture, the Boardwalk spotlights ocean-oriented rides, shows and attractions, featuring the new music, food and high-tech arcade center, AirHeadz. The Boomerang roller coaster turns you upside down six times in under a minute. The Parachute Sky Jump simulates skydiving with a 20-story free-fall.
Camp Snoopy
Designed for children ages 3-11, Camp Snoopy features more than 30 attractions. Popula rides include the Red Baron airplane ride, Camp Bus, a child-size thrill ride, and the Rocky Road Trucking Company, where kids can drive their own big rig through the trails of Camp Snoopy. There is also a children's theater and a petting zoo-all in a High Sierra setting.
Fiesta Village
Fiesta Village depicts a colonia Spanish California town. Its big thrill is Montezooma's Revenge, a monumental roller coaster. Other favorites include an 1890 carousel, the Sling Shot and the Tampico Tumbler.
Ghost Town
Shoot-outs, gold panning and the rollicking Log Ride attract visitors to this Old West town. The Crafts Barn houses costumed blacksmiths, spinners and woodcarvers who create authentic reproductions of 19th century wares. The dance hall has colorful can-can performances. The Old Trails Hotel is a replica of an Arizona inn built in 1868.
Indian Trails
In the innovative Indain Trails theme area, visitors can learn about Native American crafts, history and culture.
Wild Water Wilderness
Wild Water Wilderness features nature paths and a ranger station filled with Bigfoot memorabilia. Bigfoot Rapids is a seven-minute, free-floating raft ride through white-water rapids.

Knott's Berry Farm's Annual Halloween Haunt has unearthed a casket of evil and horrifying spectacles. You'll experience ten chilling mazes and re-themed rides including the all-new Alien Attack, Horrorwood Hotel and Dead Man's Wharf. Elvira, Mistris of the Dark in a new Monster Rock Show, mazes rides, Electric Nightmare multi-media laser show, five sinister live monster productions and more than 1,000 ghouls and goblins lurking in the fog. Blood-chilling and wicked. It's the most terrifying Haunt ever!
